What is Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD)?

Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) is a condition where the brain has difficulty receiving, organising and responding to sensory information.

For the majority of people, sensory input is processed naturally. However, for people with SPD, this input can feel overwhelming, underwhelming or confusing, significantly affecting daily functioning and well-being.
