About Me

Hello, my name is Sophie. Thank you for considering North Star practice. I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist, registered with The Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC). 

I have worked in both community and inpatient settings across different populations including older adults, adults including those with an eating disorder, children and adolescent, people with learning disabilities and people following a stroke or traumatic brain injury.

I work with people who experience a range of mental health difficulties including anxiety, depression, OCD, low self-esteem, eating disorders, PTSD, loss/grief, attachment and relationship difficulties.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, University of East Anglia

  • MSc Research methods in Clinical Psychology, University of Hertfordshire

  • BSc Psychology, University of Hertfordshire
